Ravings and Rantings of one who should know better
A K1w1 (K one w one) A person from New Zealand is called a Kiwi.
Cachaça – a strong spirit made from sugarcane, used to make delicious caipirinhas.
Fogy is born out of the necessity to give voice to countless years of experience, warts and all.
This is where his voice strives to give sense to much of what is asked but is never answered.
Random thoughts, scathing commentary, radical opinions -- you get them all
And what are the subjects?
There is no limit to what Fogy can talk about!!

These are some of the books written by Shane Gregory Dale - distributed under the Fogy banner
Fogy's blog is rich with a great number of posts covering a great number of topics.
One topic that proved to be popular was the Power of series, which has been compiled into this personal collection for readers to download for themselves.
While not particularly religious, Fogy has a great sense of the importance of belief. To this end, it seemed so natural, almost inevitable that he should write such a story.
Much of this came to him without any effort, as if being guided by another's hand and he felt compelled to write and produce this book.
The underlying theme is, What was Jesus' early life really like?'. And here this book tries to carry the reader through a number of compelling episodes that may have inspired this boy to become the man he was to become.
A number of years ago, this concept of what happens to us at that time when we transition from the living shell to beyond became the theme that is this book.
Reincarnation is not proven or disproven, but what are we?, what have we come from? - past lives, and what are we to become? -- future lives is where Fogy has travelled.
Somehow this somewhat implausible journey may even stimulate you dear readers into fantasizing in your own way, the distant pasts unknown to those equally unknown futures.
Kiwi Samba is a full length novel that travels through the megalopolis of São Paulo tracing the exploits of an unworldly New Zealander as he comes to grips with the contrasting cultures of New Zealand and Brazil.
David meets Mario, a private investigator, finds love with Luciana and mayhem through the shanty towns and avenues of their city.
Join them in careering through the trials and tribulations of such an adventure.
This section is dedicated to a variety of sites you might find useful - Cheers from the Old Fogy
In early April Fogy sat down and rolled out his Blog where he has laboured since then to produce a great number of texts based on many of the subjects he has discussed during the course of his teaching career.
You will find it more than worth your while, to take a look at what he has achieved.
While this has been around for a great number of years, produced for the SGDEnglish site and his students, there is still a great amount of information that can be garnered from this blog that can only advance your knowledge of the dreaded English language.
If it's short stories you like with a little twist, then take a look at these early attempts by Fogy to make his quill flash fleeting images in words from the pages of his mind.
While all of my work is in English, there are those people who have helped me immensely. One in particular is
Lúcio Mauro Olivier
Lúcio has been responsible for providing important feedback on my written work and has even become involved in translating some of the shorter stories, soon to be released.
But Lúcio has also been responsible for bringing together the works of his father and placing them in a site dedicated to making these works freely available to all who are interested.
For anyone who has studied Spiritualism and ALLAN KARDEC will be more than familiar with the concepts described through these works.
The quality and density of the work is exemplary within the context of how and when it was prepared.
All the content is in Portuguese, but is freely accessible through the main site which is accessible from here as well.
